This privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all visitors and users of the Spin IDE website and services (collectively, "Spin IDE," "we," "our," or "us"). Disclaimer: Spin IDE is currently in development and is not yet a registered legal entity. Any references to "Spin IDE" in this document refer to the service as it exists today and do not imply a formally registered company.

If you are a customer of Spin IDE, this Privacy Policy does not apply to data and information that we process on your behalf as a service provider ("Customer Data"). Our use of Customer Data is governed by separate agreements or terms of service that you have agreed to with us.

If you use Spin IDE as an employee, contractor, or representative of a customer, please contact your employer or organization regarding your privacy rights, as we process your personal information on behalf of that customer.

AI & Computational Usage Data:If you interact with AI-assisted coding, high-performance computing (HPC), or quantum computing features, we may collect anonymized logs related to your queries and computations to optimize service performance.

We may aggregate data for statistical and analytics purposes to improve our services and share such aggregated information with third parties for research and reporting.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for:

  • Providing and maintaining our services.

  • Enhancing AI-driven features and optimizing HPC and quantum computing workloads (if applicable, and with user consent when required).

Spin IDE does not knowingly collect:

  • Sensitive data such as genetic, biometric, health, or religious information.
  • Information from or directed to children under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

Users agree not to:

  • Use Spin IDE for illegal activities, including malware development or cyber-attacks.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
  • Abuse computational resources beyond fair use limits.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. AI-Generated Content and Liability

  • Any AI-generated code or suggestions provided by Spin IDE are for informational purposes only.
  • Users are responsible for reviewing, testing, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices, security standards, and licensing requirements before deploying AI-generated outputs.
  • Spin IDE does not guarantee the correctness, security, or suitability of AI-generated code for any specific purpose.

8. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share your information with:

Service providers:Including Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (tracking), and cloud hosting providers.
Legal authorities:If required by law or to protect our rights.

Spin IDE follows U.S. export control laws for quantum computing technologies and may restrict access based on applicable regulations.

  • Objecting to processing for direct marketing.

11. Refund Policy

If Spin IDE introduces paid services, the following refund policy will apply:

Subscription Plans:Users may cancel subscriptions at any time. Refunds will only be issued if a cancellation request is made within 7 days of purchase, unless required by applicable law.
One-Time Purchases:Payments for one-time services, including HPC and Quantum Computing resources, are non-refundable unless a technical failure prevents access to the purchased service.
Exceptions:Refunds may be granted in extraordinary circumstances, at Spin IDE's discretion, such as billing errors or accidental duplicate payments.
Processing:Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method.
